QLife is a national Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Intersex and Queer (LGBTIQ) counselling and referral service. Learning about other people’s stories and experiences can really help put a light on those parts of your own life that you may be struggling with, especially when you can see aspects of your own story reflected in what you’re watching.

In Issue 192 we mark the WA Opera’s 50th anniversary and chat to conductor Vanessa Scammell, who’ll be the first owman to conduct the orchestra when their production of ‘The Merry Widow’ takes to the stage.

Meg Mac tells us about recording her debut album, and photographer Richard Mathias reveals his new photography book.

This booklet is currently out of print and only available electronically. The booklet explores the way we can all become Living Proud Champions in order to make a difference to the lives of people in the LGBTI community and help to prevent suicide.

Developed as part of the Living Proud Suicide Prevention project which was funded by the One Life WA Suicide Prevention Strategy from 2012 to 13 and coordinated by GLCS WA (now Living Proud LGBTI Community Services) this booklet is a great resources for helping us all to live proud, strong and connected.

It was redeveloped and reprinted in 2012 by the Freedom Centre.
